Sunny Sunday

I am overwhelmed. There is so much to be done. Too much for me - although I would and do enjoy it if I get an energy spurt and/or could do it. I  have no energy. All I want to do is sleep. And even that isn't comfortable. Can you say depression?
On this most beautiful day, I saw the ever present deer family at 5:30. The daylight is warm; no sweater needed.
A Clint Eastwood movie is re-running on channel 13.
My list is growing - the to do list, that is. And that's just here! I'm going to have to hire a PROFESSIONAL (I guess that means working until I save enough to pay for the handy-person.)
  1. Snow blower-electric
  2. electric weed whacker - we may have one if I knew where to look...
  3. Blacktop the driveway.
  4. Trim back the holly trees.Trim the sugar maple.
  5. re hang the gutter over the garage door and back door.
  6. pain the handrail up the front steps
  7. trim the rose of Sharon in the corner of the patio...
  8. Clean out, sweep and paint the picnic shelter
  9. Weed the bricks at the garage door... and up the hill
  10. remove the wire on the hill behind the swings.
  11. Clean out the basement.
  12. Clean out the garage.
  13. Clean out the wood shop.
  14. Clean out the storage shed.
  15. Remove the scotch pine from above the garden.
  16. Stain the deck and sidewalk.
  17. De-splinterize the hand rail on the deck
  18. Paint the kitchen, living room, hall
  19. Paint the basement laundry room, bathroom
  20. Clean the blue rug
  21. Fix the stove or get a new one
  22. Fix the counter tops
  23. Get some drawers for the under stove area
  24. and of course, the big job... clean the cupboards...drawers, closets
  25. winterize the furnace...
It's optimistic to have a list of things that are possible to do, rather than a list of repetitive things that don't change anything for the better...

When I die, someone else will deal with the house on the boulevard. As of today, I am resigned; I am unable to complete that project.
